Liechtenstein Day at Smetana´s Litomysl festival

This year the Smetana´s Litomyšl festival will introduce as a part of the program the Liechtenstein Day on Wednesday 22 June.

The program of Liechtenstein Day will start at 11 a.m. in the Castle Riding Hall with a lecture on Liechtenstein, presented by the Honorary Consul of the Principality of Liechtenstein, Daniel Herman, and the Spokesperson of the Prince of Liechtenstein Foundation for the Czech Republic, Michal Růžička.

In the afternoon, from 4 pm, an exhibition of watercolour paintings from the princely Liechtenstein collections will open in the Castle Brewery in cooperation with the Litomyšl City Gallery.

The Liechtenstein Day will close with a concert by the string ensemble of the Liechtenstein International Music Academy Ensemble Esperanza, which brings together the best musicians of the young generation from all over the world. The concert will start at 19:30 in the Great Hall of the Smetana House (the link to buy the tickets is here).
